All events start and finish at the Hub, Hadleigh Country Park, unless otherwise stated.
We have a 72 hour cancellation policy, so we cannot refund or reschedule within this time. We are happy to refund outside this time. We ride through all weathers too.
Lose the Stabilisers
All day Saturday and Sundays and sessions during school holidays.
Cost: £18 for a 1:1, half-hour session. Must be booked!
One to one, half-hour sessions to teach your child to ride without stabilisers. Led by our experienced coaches to a tried and tested method, your child will have a relaxed and happy session getting to grips with cycling on just two wheels! Lose the stabilisers runs all day Saturday and Sunday.
Your child will need a bike, bike helmet and be wearing clothes suitable for riding. At the start of the first session the coach will carry out a check of the child’s bike to ensure it is in a suitable working condition. If you do not have a suitable bike you can hire one for the session for an additional £5.
The sessions are suitable for children up to age 12. If your child is older than this, please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Saturday mornings: Half hour bookings from 9.30. Last booking 12:30
Saturday afternoons: Half hour bookings from 1.30 pm. Last booking 3.30
Sunday mornings: Half hour bookings from 9.30 pm. Last booking 12.30.
Sunday afternoons: Half hour bookings from 1:30 pm. Last booking 3.30
Children may take 2 or 3 sessions to learn to ride, sometimes more. We cannot guarantee the same coach will be available for all sessions booked.
Women's Cycling...Wowie!
We have helped start a new women's cycle club called Women on Wheels in Essex (Wowie). It is free to join and you will be able to rent bikes at a very special rate, or even for free. It is on every Saturday 12.30 till 2.30pm except in extreme weather. The club is aimed at new cyclists, and those gaining experience. You will be welcomed no matter your skill or fitness levels. *NEW* - 1:1 Online Bookable Coaching Sessions
You can now book 1:1 weekend coaching sessions online - just click on the "Book Now" button. Sessions are currently available from January 2025. These sessions can be for adult or child mountain bike coaching; learn to ride or general skills development. £45 an hour. If you need a bike these are available to book at the same time for an additional £10. If you are unsure please call us to discuss 01702 875431.
Please note we do not coach gap jump skills.

Bespoke Coaching
Bookable sessions are available at weekends, but some weekday/twilight/after school sessions can be made available. £45 for 1 hour, 1:1 sessions which are adapted to your requirements. Extra people (max 2) can be added at £20 each, provided they are at a similar existing skills level as the primary learner. Sessions can be learning to ride (children or adult); confidence/skills building on your bike or learning/improving your mountain biking skills. Hadleigh History Hop (including pub lunch)
A guided ride for groups (up to 10) using the Green trail and surrounding area. Duration 3 hours, distance approximately 11 km. Cycle and talk on the events and people at Hadleigh Park, from Viking days to WW2. £29 with own bike, £39 including bike hire and £49 including Ebike hire. Includes a pub lunch; vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. Bookable online (click on book now button).
